Bricks with manufacturing defects were used for the facing. Yet it was precisely this material quality that shaped the fireplace’s individual identity and gave it additional artistic value.
In this project, what is usually seen as a flaw became an expressive strength. The irregular texture and distinctive character of the bricks made the appearance of the fireplace more vivid, more distinctive, and more memorable.
The fireplace was built in May 2018 in a suburb of Kharkiv.
