The construction used old brick, often referred to as “tsarist brick.” This term is connected with the fact that in the pre-revolutionary period different standards for brick production were in force, and the brick differed noticeably from modern material in its dimensions and proportions.
It is precisely this material that shaped the outer appearance of the fireplace, giving it a livelier, more textured, and historically expressive character.
The fireplace was built in May 2016.
